After a long day at the mall I find myself lying in my bed ,wishing to just close my eyes forever because of the fatigue.
I scroll down my phone hoping to see some messages on my phone,mabye from my mom only to see no messages.
What did I expect?
That she will just simply text me ,telling me how much she misses me,but that will be like selling myself a dream.She doesn't miss me ,she doesn't appreciate my presence in her life, that's why she sent me here,to be free from me.
All my thoughts eradicate as Willow barges into my room making me roll my eyes .
Is it that hard to knock?
"Hey girl."She says greeting me for the first time.
"Hey."I say plainly.
"I came to take you around the place ,give you some tour since you are busy sitting here alone ."She says.
"I'm tired."I say.
"Come on it will be fun ,pretty please."She pleads annoying me.
Can't a girl get some alone time?
"I can't take no for an answer ,get your butt up ,we are leaving."She says standing and folding her hands with huge anticipation of seeing me getting up from my bed.
"I'm not leaving."She says tapping her feet on the floor,getting on my nerves.
"Argh."I say rolling my eyes getting up from the bed,putting on my sneakers that are scattered on the floor.
"Good girl."She says clapping her hands annoying me even more.
"So where are we going?"I ask her as we head outside,feeling the small amount of wind playing with my chocolate brown hair as it moves to my face,making me regret on deciding to untie my ponytail.
"You will see."She says with a huge smile on her small face then grabbing my hand making me run with her.
I explore the neighborhood seeing the beauty of it,bright tall green trees making the neighborhood look more nature aesthetic.
I look at different huge houses ,that are sourounded by trees ,some parked with very expensive cars .
"You like ?"She asks with a proud smile on her face.
"Yeah ."I say putting my hair on the other side of my ear.
"It's a very beautiful neighborhood."She says as we walk in the street.
"Indeed it is ."I say as I turn my head in different directions,exploring the area.
"Hungry ?"She asks making me smile for the very first time.
Don't judge me people ,just the sound of food or the thought of food is the only think that excites me,food doesn't abandon me ,food loves me and I love it ,but my body weight won't agree with me since I'm thin as a stick.
"Ofcourse ."I say making her laugh.
We get into the burger store ,namely called Burger Castle which is a*****e that I'm not familiar with.
Gladly the place is not crowded only a few people are around enjoying their burgers in peace.
We find an empty table around the corner which is a perfect spot.
We look at the menu and to be honest it is heavenly menu ,entailing burgers that have intriguing flavours .
A mini burger with chicken burger pattie,some tomatoes ,Cheese and lettuce.
A regular burger with beef or chicken pattie,tomatoes ,bacon,cheese ,lettuce .
And my very favourite.
The king sized burger ,a huge burger that totally fit perfectly into my hand and can drive me straight to wonder land with its yummy flavours ,two chicken burger patties,tomatoes,bacon,cheese ,lettuce ,some chilli sauce extra ,some fried chips on the side and lastly any drink of my choice .
I think I found my first true love .
A waiter comes by ,he looks a bit tanned ,golden skin ,brown hair and some nerdy black glasses .
"Hey I'm Andy your waiter for the day ,what would you like to order?"He says as he takes out a black notepad and a pen ready to jot down our orders .
"King sized burger number 10 and a Coke drink ."I say as I watch him writing it down .
"A regular burger number 3 and a strawberry milkshake."Willow says as she looks at him lightly then straight back to her phone.
"Okay good then ."He says as he dissapears from our sights ,only to hear a huge sigh from Willow following by rolling her eyes .
"I can't believe he is our waiter ,the only guy that I have been avoiding ."She says.
Okay this awkward ,what do I say?
"Uh okay."I say in an uninterested tone.
I mean I'm not .
"He has been busy telling me that he wants me to be his girlfriend and I don't want to ,what's so hard to understand about that?"She carries on.
"Tough one ."I say ,as a smile appears on my face as I see the waiter guy coming to our table .
He places the food on our table,giving us his smile following by the words.
"Enjoy ."And a smile directed to Willow who seems to not give a damn at all.
We eat our food in silence ,after finishing we head of outside as we walk down the street silencely.
"I'm sorry for the ignoring you the first day you arrived ,it was wrong of me to not welcome you ."She says totally shocking me.
"Uhm it's okay ."I say .
"That's why I wanted to take you out on a tour ,to spend some time with you ,after all you are my cousin and you are a girl ,I will nolonger have to be bored by Travis anymore.I have somebody I can talk with."She says smiling at me.
Should I smile back?
"Thanks ."I say smiling like a fool .
We continue walking by listening to her telling me about herself and some stories that are supercalifragilistic ,making me laugh so hard until we arrive at home ,finding Laura in the kitchen wearing her red apron.
"Hey kids how was your trip ?"She asks as she puts some green pepper on whatever that she is cooking.
"It was fun ,I got to know Betty better."Willow says .
Got to know me better?
"Mm that's good,did you enjoy Betty?"Laura asks me full of anticipation.
"Yes I did."I say smiling again like a fool .
"That's great then ."She says continuing with her cooking as Willow and I head to the lounge to watch some series that she told me ...
I think she said it was some show called
"Friends"
Something like that ,she told that it was one of the best shows and a hilarious one .
I watch her as she turns the TV on opening Netflix ,pressing the remote fastly like some pro.
Until I see a word FRIENDS and a picture of 6 people plastered on the big TV screen.
I guess this is .
"Get ready for laughter."She says looking at me and smiling ,before pressing the word play.
