"Weren't you supposed to bring her here nicely? How did it turn into a freaking k********g?" Julian turned his head to glance at Victor. Hearing that, Victor immediately raised his hands innocently. "Hey, I brought her here properly, alright?" He shot Lillian a meaningful look. "If you've done nothing shady, why be scared of a little knock at midnight?" Then he snorted coldly, eyes filled with sarcasm. "Don't act like I've done something to you. Please, you're not my type." Lillian froze mid-sob at Victor's words, her expression twitching. In her heart, she scoffed—like hell I'd ever go for someone like you. Julian's gaze remained cold and sharp. Under his stare, Lillian couldn't help but shiver a little. Her eyes shimmered with tears as she looked at him pitifully.
