Evelyn didn't stick around the hospital for long.
Soon enough, Harold got wind of the fact that Alexandra had nearly been hurt by Helena. Furious, he didn't hesitate to sue Helena for intentional assault.
He even showed up at the hospital himself to look after Lucas, who was still knocked out from the anesthesia and lying unconscious in bed.
After a few polite words with Evelyn, Harold told her and Julian to head out first—he knew she'd just started working at Knight Group, and she must have been swamped. He didn't feel right holding her back to watch over Lucas.
Evelyn checked the time and remembered she was supposed to have dinner with the Everett family later that evening. Without pushing back, she laced fingers with Julian and left the hospital.
