Chapter Eleven Closing her mouth, Meikah looked in both directions before following Kellan, stepping over the fallen bodies. It didn’t take them long to deal with the handful of zombies that were left and she returned to the wagon, Kellan at her side. A bow remained in Flint’s hand and he scanned the area, Suri leaning against the trunk, her eyes closed. Livia leapt onto the back of the wagon before she turned human. “She going to be all right?” Livia nodded towards Suri. “It takes a lot of energy to wield so much power,” Flint said. Suri opened her eyes, smiling slightly. “I’ll be good as new come morning.” She closed her eyes again. “How did you do that?” Meikah looked from Suri’s hands to her own. Why did they need help if they were able to take out a horde of zombies on their own
