Chapter Thirteen “Are you crazy?” Meikah rose from the table, stepping away from him. “We’ll be killed.” “Of course we won’t.” Kellan looked to Suri again. “A map?” “I’ll organise one for you. But you might not want to go. The only access is through a narrow ravine, wide enough you could be taken out by archers along the top,” Suri said. “Then how about a couple of shields we can borrow?” Kellan asked. “Kellan-” He interrupted Meikah. “We always go to the source. It’s the way we do things.” “I’m with Meikah on this,” Flint said. “You’re crazy. Throwing our lives away isn’t part of what we do.” Finished his meal, Kellan rose from the table. “Danton isn’t the only one who always gets the job done. Isn’t that why you came to us? To get the job done? Because that’s what I plan to do.”
