Surprisingly, things weren't weird at all between Dominic and me after that night. Sunday we go out for our usual breakfast and the rest of the week goes on as normal. He doesn't bring up what happened and neither do I. But I do think about what he said. Facing the past may be the only way to make the voices go away. Ignoring it sure hasn't gotten me anywhere.
