Friday after class, I tried out my new running pants and long-sleeve t-shirt. The weather keeps changing from warm to cold and today it picked cold. I head outside and took the trail that leads into the woods. Yellow, orange and red leaves cover the ground and the crunch of them under my feet almost sounds like popping fireworks. I alternate between steady running and sprints. The anger over my mother's letter still nags at me, but the steady running clears my head while the sprints burn off the anger.
