The First Time I Fight Back
Lyra's POV
"Found you."
The words hit my ear like poison and I froze for one second and the panic exploded inside me.
"Let me go!" I screamed, I twisted hard in his grip and kicked backward, pushed with all my strength but the rogue only laughed.
It was a dark, and ugly laughter, he then dragged me deeper into the forest and branches scraped my arms.
Leaves crushed under our feet and I dig my heels into the ground,I tried to stop him, tried to slow him but it did not work.
"Darius!" I screamed again and my voice tore out of me but all I heard back was the sound of fighting, it was far behind and the rogue jerked me harder.
"Stop fighting," he said and his voice was rough and low.
"You are making this harder."
"I would rather die!"
