The words left my mouth in a broken whisper and everything changed, Kael then looked at me, and then at him and then back at me.   "No," Kael said fast, like he needed the answer to be no.   Like he couldn't allow it to be true, then Darius rose from the ground, breathing hard.   His lip was split and blood stained the side of his mouth but his eyes never left the man standing in front of us.   "That should be impossible," Darius said, and the man only looked at me, not Kael and not Darius and not also the warriors still trying to stand.   Just me.
