  The Blood That Calls to Me   Lyra's POV   "She smells like my mother."   The words left my mouth, and the whole clearing went silent and Kael's hand tightened on my arm.   Darius stared at me like I just said something impossible and even Ronan stopped moving.   Around us, the battle was dying and the last sound of fighting faded into groans, heavy breathing, and the crackle of fire from broken torches.   Bodies lay across the ground, some were rogues, some were masked attackers, some were Kael's men, and some were Darius's.
