"They already sent hunters to the temple…"
The dying rogue's hand stayed locked around my wrist and his fingers dug into my skin like he was trying to force the warning into my blood.
I then leaned closer. "Who sent them?"
He opened his mouth, blood spilled out first and then his body jerked once.m and still my breath caught.
"No," I whispered. "No, wait. Wait."
But he was gone, dead in front of me, dead before he could say anything else.
I slowly pulled my wrist from his hand and rose to my feet, my knees felt weak, but my chest was burning too hard for me to fall.
"The temple," I said. "We leave now."
