He exhaled through his nose and turned away and that annoyed me instantly.
"Do not do that."
He stopped.
"Do what?"
"Turn your back when I ask you something real."
He went still and then he looked at me over his shoulder.
"You think this is easy for me to say?"
My voice rose.
"You think anything has been easy for me?"
