"She was never trapped."
My words hung in the air and no one spoke and for one second, everything felt still.
Then Darius moved.
"Lock the entire pack down," he ordered and his voice cut through the dungeon like a blade.
"No one leaves Black Hollow, not a single soul."
The guards snapped into action.
