Lyra's POV
"She said… the Luna will come to her herself."
The words echoed in my head long after the man went still and I stared at him, his hand slipped from my sleeve and his eyes lost focus.
He was gone, just like that and Darius stepped forward and checked him and then straightened.
"He is dead."
No one spoke and Kael moved closer to me.
"You should not be here."
I did not answer because my mind was not here, it was somewhere else, with her, with that voice, with that pull that kept growing stronger and then Darius turned to the guards.
"Take the body away, double the watch, no one moves without my command."
