MISUNDERSTANDINGS

I asked my driver to follow peter's car and after 5 minutes he stopped his car near a lane and after 2 minutes that girl got down his car and he left from there. The girl was quite fair and a bit skinny too. That's all I could figure out. I Then went back home, and was eagerly waiting to speak to dad. I wanted to list out all my problems and ask him to find me a way out of it.

After coming back home I ran to dad's room, 

"knock knock senior" I shouted and pushed the door.

I then saw Peter sitting right in front of him and they both were having some coffee and good chat!

I aggressively shut the door and left from there. It was after nearly half an hour that my dad stepped into my room and sat beside me while, I was busy using my laptop.

"What has happened?" he simply started.

"Didn't peter narrate everything? Go and ask him!" I closed my laptop and placed it on my study table and looked at him with an angry expression on my face.

"Peter had come here to ask permission to get a girl admitted in our school of his same class." He started.

"But, when you came and aggressively went away he said that you all had a fight and did not elaborate more and chose to be silent. I insisted him to share it with me but, he rather said it would be better if Ro would narrate all the incidents which took place apparently." He completed.

" Peter is no more my best friend." I stated.

" okay fine but, I will always mean him as my son." He replied.

"What kind off a dad are you?"I questioned.

" what kind off a son are you? If you will tell me a problem then,i will find you a solution. And if you just keep blabbering unnecessary stuff i can't magically imagine your condition and get things right without any knowledge." He started to shout or I can say most probably scold.

"Dad, I wanted to speak to you yesterday itself but, you were busy! Caroline met me on my way home from shopping and we accepted each other. We are wanting to make our relationship official but, neither mom nor peter is trying to understand me. I had to take a diamond ring for Caroline today but, I  couldn't because of peter and he even hit me hard. we had a fight too, we can never go back to normal again! he has stopped understanding me like before." I stammered, shouted, cried and said what not to dad.

He then calmly started, "I do not know Caroline personally. Don't even know what kind off a girl she is. His father is one of my business partner and a good friend of mine.But, I do not even know what kind off a dad he is. Now, Are you buying a diamond ring from yourself or acting a puppet to Caroline's command?" 

"She requested me to get one diamond ring that's it and she never asked for anything else!" I tried defending.

"Before? It's just been a week since, you both have met each other and just a day since you are dating her and doesn't it feel like she's too greedy to ask a diamond ring on the first day. And when your best friend is also not okay with it you are still trying to stay on her side even though, you have met her just a week ago! Strange.."He was continuing with his deep talks when I interrupted.

" stating the same things again and again does not change my perspective and I am asking you for a solution."I commanded.

"Solution for what?  You have enough money to buy 100 diamond rings, your friend is your friend and your life is your life you can rather choose to be with him or stay with him as its your Heart's and mind's conflict and you are mature enough to understand the situations and take the right step. I can just console and explain you, that's it. And if you want me to accept Caroline, I don't have any issues, I will accept her, you convince your mother. As it's your life you will soon understand whether she is worth it or no and then later, when any sort of regret surrounds you it's you who will have to go through a difficult phase. Your mother and your friend are just trying to make things easy for you. Get this in your head." He explained and left my room immediately.

Things never seemed this complicated before. I guess I am messing it up all. i will rather convince peter? No,how could he not share with me about a girl whom he is hanging around? But, I am still his best friend. We had these kind off fights before too and Peter always felt sorry and took the first step towards convincing me.

I then, went out bought a diamond ring for Caroline and went back to sleep. 

I am not a deep thinker but, Peter's thoughts kept me occupied  since Yesterday. His behavior,that fight of our's and that stranger girl and someone's admission.

Did peter hide it from me? I wanted to know!

After entering the school I went directly near peter and  stood in front of him, and some of my angry glares I shot at him yet, he remained undisturbed.

I then pulled him up through his collar and asked,

"Who the f**k is that girl you are hanging around with?" gritting my teeth.

He still did not utter a word. I then put him down and he started to dust his shoulders, set his collar and then, I see that girl entering our campus from the 1st floor as Peter kept staring in that direction from the time she walked in. 

I went closer to him and opened  my eyes wider revealing my anger and asked," She is the one whom you are going behind? asking for admission? hiding your affair?" 

Peter hit me right then, without even thinking twice. "Mind your tongue. Are you listening to me? Sharing your secrets with me? so that I brief you about everything that's taking place in my life. Maintain your distance, I will not keep reminding that You declared that we are friends no more!"  He pushed me back. And went towards that girl. I was in a hurry to follow him and was planning to humiliate that stranger girl whom Peter was prioritizing over me and give him an answer to that punch which he had landed on my jaw few minutes back and, I trip and slip from the steps of the Veranda.

A/N: The situation has gone a bit intense? What happens next? And who is this girl? Is Petty dating her? Next chapter will be out day after tomorrow.
