Two Weeks Later
The resort gave me a nice break from the freezing cold at Frostbite Ridge.
Clear blue water hit the sandy shore as I took the longer trail toward Sunset Cove Resort.
People lay on chairs under wide umbrellas, and others played in the water.
Workers walked slowly on the sand while pushing carts packed with cold drinks, beer, sun lotion, and clean towels.
It felt strange to see this.
I did not even know a place like this existed before now.
I wondered how many wolves actually wanted to spend their time hanging out at the beach.
Apparently, a whole lot of them did.
The entire place was completely filled with people.
A slow smile crept across my face.
It made sense that she chose a spot like this to hide.
She was a spoiled princess after all.
