(LOST IN THE WOODS)

IN THE WOODS;

It was early morning when I woke up, the sun just beginning to rise. I looked out the window and saw the forest glistening with dew, the trees swaying gently in the breeze. I felt a sudden urge to go outside and explore, I didn't want to wake up my friends we had a long night. So I quickly dressed and headed out. I walked for a while, enjoying the peace and quietness of the forest, I was so lost in my thoughts that I was oblivious to my surrounding. But as I walked still in my thoughts, I realized I was no longer sure of where i was....was I lost? The trees seemed to be closing in around me, and the path I had been following had disappeared. I was..LOST...I tried retracing my steps but to no avail, I keep getting to were I had started on. "Oh my phone"...I remembered I had carried it along. I quickly scan through my contacts and called Ems, but the service was bad.

I'm sure they'd probably be out there looking for me. They'd be worried sick, I thought of the looks on their faces...what about my Mom and dad...I Said I burst out crying. I sat on a log of wood with fear not knowing what to do, I know they'd find me I kept reassuring myself, just then my stomach began to rumble, I was hungry and thirsty I remembered I carried my water can with me , I brought it out and gulped down the water but it wasn't helping. I hadn't had anything to eat and ...I looked at the time on my phone it's been hours. I summoned courage to look around for anything edible I could eat...my stomach was already aching me but the thoughts on wild animals lurking around scared to death...As I sat there, I felt a faint rumbling beneath my feet. I looked around, confused, as the ground shook ever so slightly. The trees above me began to sway and creak, as if a great wind were about to blow through the forest. And then, suddenly, I heard a roar, so loud and deep that it seemed to shake the earth beneath my feet. I covered my ears, trying to block out the sound, but it was so loud that it felt as if it were piercing my very soul. And then, with a great crash, the ground gave way beneath me, and I was falling, falling,...into a dark, gaping hole in the earth. I tumbled and fell for what felt like an eternity, the wind whipping my hair and clothes around me. I closed my eyes, bracing myself for the impact of hitting the bottom. But instead, I felt myself slowing down, and then I landed gently on something soft and warm. I opened my eyes, and found myself lying on a bed of moss, in a cavern lit by a soft, flickering light. I looked up, and saw that the light was coming from a large, glowing orb that hung from the ceiling of the cavern. I sat up and looked around, ...my eyes taking in my surroundings. The cavern was huge, easily the size of a small town. The walls were covered in glowing moss, and the floor was carpeted with flowers, ferns, and mushrooms of every shape and color. A gentle stream trickled through the cavern, and the sound of the water was calming. And then, I heard a deep voice coming from somewhere in the darkness. "Who are you?" it asked. I was afraid to answer, afraid that the owner of the voice might be dangerous. "I'm ...S..s..s...Sarah"I said With great fear, feeling dizzy.

I looked up and saw the dragon lord standing over me, its golden eyes fixed on me. "Where did you come from?," it said, its voice deep and rumbling. " I sat up slowly, "Who the hell are you? I screamed freaking out," . "Where am I?" The dragon lord gave a low chuckle. "You're in my palace and custody " it said. " I blinked, trying to make sense of what it was saying.... custody?

"Please let me go back home I said pleading in fear. "No! you won't, he growled...No one in my custody comes and goes Scot Free. You'll serve me he said with a fiery look in his eyes, get some rest you've passed out for a while now he said looking into my eyes...his golden eyes piercing into mine. Pl...plsss....pls I stuttered trying to plead but he shot back No! And walked out of the room shutting the door behind him.

I quickly came down from the bed screaming and banging the door for him to let me go....pls let me go back I screamed crying, then an old lady opened the door " Hey dear! "How're you feeling? She asked, this was my opportunity to escape I thought to myself...I stood up and ran out of the room but as I ran I keep coming back to the same spot what's happening I said to myself. "oh please help me" I begged the old Lady. I don't know how I got here. she looked at me sympathetically and said I'm sorry dear I don't have the power to do that no one comes here and ever return back. I'm just a mere servant.

oh ma....help me...I Said weeping.

if you need anything let me know just call me... "I'm lady B". she said and walked out of the room.

"My Lord are you sure of what you're doing"? lady B asked the dragon lord.

there's something about her, He said.

"I feel she'd be the one to lift this curse and burden from me", just keep an eye on her for me, attend to her needs, make sure she bathes and eat, whenever she's ready to speak let me know and report to me immediately.

I've been locked away for weeks now, I didn't know where I was...I was far from home and my friends, they'd probably think I'm dead I refused everything offered to me, I just wanted to go home, strangely I saw a hooded feminine shadow in my room and I was filled with fear then the figure came out physically and walked elegantly towards where laid I was awestrucked she was so beautiful. she had the most amazing smile and eyes. "Goedemorgen, mevrouw. Ik ben de heer's schoonmaker, en ik ben hier om uw kamer te ontsmetten." huh what did you say"? I asked looking confused.

I'm so sorry about the intrusion but lady B told me to tidy your room, she said looking at me with her gorgeous eyes.

I just nodded my head and she began her duty. I watched her as she gracefully cleaned everywhere. "what's this place about I asked" I'm sorry I can't disclose it to you...my Lord would be upset she said and continued just as she bent to go back to her work, then immediately the lord walked in and signaled her to leave.

" I was terrified, is he going to kill me...I thought within me as I shut my eyes tightly. "No I won't! "he said he's voice so thick and deep" Oh my Goodness can he hear my thoughts i said as I opened my eyes and stared at him.

"miss Sarah Smith he called my name"...I was dumbstruck when he mentioned my name, how did he know my full name? I can't remember me ever mentioning my full name to him or....is he a vampire...a ghost or....i thought this time more scared than ever.

Sarah Smith!!! He called out my name this time more loud..."I need to talk to you"...He said... this Time his voice calm...
