Misty knew her new trial would be coming up very soon and each day for her was consumed with remembering and entering those thoughts in her journal that Ryan had suggested she start. She kept this new prized possession remarkably close, and secret, so much so that not even Bags knew about it.
The last thing she remembered was the night Elaine stalked her house. Misty, for the sake of her freedom thought long and hard about their next meeting after that, which was sometime in mid-September.
Her visit with Ryan would be in a couple days and she wanted to be sure she had more information to give him. Misty, fortunately, had plenty of time to write in her journal without being questioned because Bags was busy tormenting the last of Wright’s girls.
