Chapter 10
“Misty, can you please give me a call back? I really miss you, and I am so sorry for what I did a few months ago with Brad. Please say you forgive me, classes start next month, and I really want us to be in a good place. I am driving in town today to start looking for an apartment and I would love to hang out with you. Maybe you can even show me some places to live. Please call me, that will never happen again, I promise, and again, I am so sorry.”
This was the last call Misty had expected to receive while finalizing plans to go bowling on campus in celebration for the fourth of July with a few friends. As Misty walked around her apartment, still in her pajamas, she contemplated on calling Elaine back.
