  Aisha's POV   The scent of blood still lingered on my gloves as I walked out of the tent, the adrenaline ebbing from my limbs like a receding tide. My legs trembled beneath me, but I forced myself upright. I wasn't going to collapse in front of the others.   A hush fell over the corridor outside the operating tent, followed by the low murmur of awe. It rippled from one end of the ward to the other, carried by whispered voices and wide-eyed stares.
