SILENT YEARNINGS

CHAPTER ELEVEN

VALE POV:

"Hi princess" I replied on the phone.

"Umm... Who are you?" Crystal asked on the side of her phone. Her voice is magical and so soft. It was like listening to a soft lullaby you didn't want to end.

I smiled as she continued asking who I was and I was lost in her voice.

"Answer i***t" Antonio used a file to hit my head. I glared at him but he didn't care. I turned back to the call.

"It's me Vale. Vale Rossi"I told her my name from our childhood, before my father took me in and changed it to Leonardo.

"Vale? Umm... Angelina son" she spoke excitedly. I smiled as I leaned on my chair.

"That's me princess" I replied, feeling happy that's she's happy.

"How did you get my number? How is your mum?."she asked and I smiled more widely. "From some contacts. And my mum is fine."

I could feel her happiness and curiosity. I wanted to talk to her more but remembered I was in the middle of a meeting. "Talk later princess. Take care." I said and ended the call.

I smiled as I dropped the phone down.

I totally forgot I was in the middle of a meeting.

After coming down from the plane, and emergency meeting was held and I immediately had to come to the company.

The old men and women around the table argued and I eventually got bored and irritated and simply decided to call the new number on my phone and heard Crystal voice. And now I'm back to where I started.

"You can't just black out from a meeting" an old man in his late fifties spoke. I sent him a glare that can probably kill and he immediately shut up angrily.

I stood up and took a deep breath "I'm going to be in charge of this company from today and I don't want to hear any rejection or argument from you old hags." I spoke coldly with an icy gaze as I scanned the room. Then one old woman with too much make-up was glaring at me. She was a shareholder.

I walked towards her slowly and she immediately placed her face down. I stood in front of her "Nome? (Name?)"

"Gladys Rocco" she replied and leaned down. She tried to keep her gaze steady but her fear was stopping her.

She looked up, scared and frozen. I smirked and looked at all the old men.

"My father may have kept quiet but I won't."

"From today on. Anything I say I'd final and if you dare argue or try to pull me down. You're going to jail and I won't make it easy for you all." I threatened and I knew my words had gone deep.

"Meeting dismissed" they all scrambled out like scared cats and Antonio gave me a judging gaze.

"What?"

"You can control a room of people confidently but act foolishly with a single woman" he spoke and I glared at him but as usual, it didn't affect him.

"I can't wait for the day a woman catches your eye"I said as I sat back on my chair but he didn't reply which was somehow suspicious.
