SILENT YEARNINGS

CHAPTER NINE

VALE POV:

"Who's she?" Antonio asked snapping me from my thoughts. I turned to him. "Who?"

"The girl you keep looking at".

"It's just a childhood friend, that's all"I replied quietly as I looked at Crystal who was staring at me behind her book. Our gazes locked and I have a slight smile and she immediately covered her whole face with her book. I smirked at her reaction.

"Dude, go talk to her and stop acting like an idiot...." Antonio started and I looked at the person that I call my best friend. "....i'm only advising you" he finished as he flipped the book he was reading.

"Are an angel meant to help me or a demon sent to destroy me?" I asked rhetorically and he just shrugged.

I rolled my eyes and glanced at Crystal but she started drifting off to sleep.

Looks like she couldn't continue reading.

She rested on the blanket wrapped woman beside her. I couldn't see her face but her figure gave that she was a woman.

She looked so peaceful and calm. I wanted to walk right up to her and snuggle against her neck. I wonder how it will look if my hickey was there.

I immediately snapped my head from those thoughts and decided to relax on the plush seat. It was a nine hour ride and I was going to enjoy it.

Thoughts of Crystal went through my head and I eventually drifted to sleep.

M dreams were consumed with Crystal. From her walking around the garden to us on the bed. I started dreaming about both of us on the bed. It was getting interesting and heated.

"Wake up man" Crystal whispered in my head. "Wake up idiot." she said in a manly voice and that immediately snapped me awake. It was Antonio shaking me up. I jerked up and shook my head.

"Hello sleepy head. I'm ordering food. Want some?" I was annoyed that my sweet dreams had come to an end but Antonio didn't seem to care.

"Yh sure. Order anything" I closed my eyes again. Hoping one day that my dreams can become reality.
