Inside

"There is a universe inside you that is just as beautiful as this one," - Gemma Troy As I aged, I forgot about the finality in this life. I lived it as every other I had ever spent. I was completely average in every was possible. To see a five-year-old with so much wisdom and the personality of an immortal being, I had learned, was a bad way to start off. I lived as if every day was my first. This was but a fraction of my lifetimes and I found no reason for it to be treated unlike every other life. But, one day, as I was sitting in a small coffee shop something nagged at me. At the back of my mind, there seemed to be a memory long forgotten. I spent the next many months -- that felt the most like Nothingness in the living world as possible -- going through every memory and thought that I had ever had. Just as I was about to give up, I found it. Not a minute after my birth, I had felt something close behind me. It usually did; the Gates always closed behind me. But, this time it seemed more forceful. I could not figure out why that had happened. I cannot remember a time when I didn't go to Nothingness when my body died. The concept was unimaginable to me. It made no sense, that this time I could actually find my Purpose. But, I guess most souls find their Purpose within their first life. I was not one of them.
