After she left the farm, Julia got into her blue scooter and drove herself to Jules international Inc which was at the other end of the city.

She carefully parked the scooter before heading inside .

She was stopped by the receptionist at the front desk. The receptionist smiled politely at her.

"Are you here to meet someone?? she asked still smiling.

Julia nodded.

"Do you think an appointment?? the receptionist asked softly.

Julia shook her head slowly.

"I'm so sorry, I can't let you in, who do you want to see anyways?? the receptionist asked feeling her patience running out.

Julia brought out her phone and typed Alexander's name before showing it to the receptionist.

So she can't speak?? the receptionist looked at her.

"I'm so sorry, you can't see him without an appointment, you should call him, surely you have his number? she looked suspiciously at her. How can she just show up here and pretend to know the CEO?? Women!! the receptionist thought shaking her head in pity.

Julia turned back to go, but she had only taken one step when she heard her name.

"miss Julia! she turned around, Gerald was looking so anxious.

"you came to see the CEO?? he asked hopefully. They had been working none stop ever since the day they had left her house, he was so tired, he wanted to go back to his girlfriend! He saw Julia nod her head.

"Then this way." he led her to the private elevator which took them to the twenty eighth floor.

Alexandre turned around as soon as the door opened. He paused in shock, his eyes moved to Gerald's face. Surely he couldn't have kidnapped her there so that he would stop working.

"What.... what are you doing here?? he stuttered. Gerald looked at him, this was the first time he had seen the CEO stuttering. wow !! just a minute of her arrival.

Julia silently turned to go.Alexandre stood up anxiously. "wait, don't go!! she turned around again.

Taking the clue, Gerald silently slipped away."I'm so happy to see you here today, i was just surprised," he said wearing a big smile that surprised her. She nodded.

"You can sit" he pointed at the chair before him, slowly she sat down feeling quite shy, that was strange!!

She looked at his handsome face as he quickly typed on the computer before he closed it. He looked so handsome that she thought she would have a nose bleed if she continued staring at him for too long.

Alexandre looked up to find a pair of shiny emerald eyes looking deeply at him. He smiled. Was she checking out on him?? he thought and his ears suddenly redden, Julia was too lost in her own thoughts to even notice.

He cleared his throat, bringing her back to reality.

Julia quickly typed out an apology on her iPad. Up until now she hadn't felt that been mute was so troublesome.

"It's okay, you must have a lot on your mind, but you can ask me anything"he said softly.

Why was this CEO different from what she had heard about him??

She bent down her head to type, she handed the iPad to him when she was done. He read out quickly. "I just came to tell you that i agree to your proposal" immediately a big smile was plastered on his face.

"Are you serious?? she shrugged hiding the fact that she was feeling shy again.

Alexandre looked at the stubborn and straight forward girl who had just accepted to be his wife. How could he be so lucky?? "Can i get a hug? he asked, his eyes dancing happily.

She shrugged again as if saying: whatever....

Alexandre stood up quickly and with long strides he walked up to her, then he pulled her up and enveloped her in a long warm hug.

Unexpected, Julia felt so secured in his arms, she felt as if she could spend eternity in his arms just as they were at that moment.

When he let go, he saw Julia's blushing face and he couldn't help but give her a quick kiss on her lips, julia blushed even more and her face became so.... red, he imagined her in his room on their wedding night, a smirk appeared on his face.

"can i have your number now?? he asked,but Julia only looked at him with a confused expression.

"your number" he placed his phone on her hand.

Julia came back to her senses, she took the phone and quickly typed her number so she could escape from the room and it's owner.

She gave him back the phone. A smile appeared on his face again as he saved her number with whatever he liked. Julia shook her head, such a petty guy! she thought as she looked nervously at the door.

Alexandre understood she wanted to leave, maybe she was not comfortable with him, but that would all soon change, he helped her as he looked at her helpless face. Though he had wanted to spend some more time with her.

"You can go home if you have something to do, I'll check up on you later" he said softly. She looked at him gratefully.

She nodded as she stood up quickly she walked to the door and then waved good bye at him.
