She had nothing to offer

Alexandre went back to home without joining the matheos for dinner seeing that Julia wouldn't eat with them. He didn't like any of her family members, they were seemed too foolish to him.

Once Alexandre had left, Julia made to go back to her room but she was stopped by Ashley and her mom.

"You w***e!! Ashley was so angry.

"He came to ask Ashley to marry him,but you showed up with your seductive face and you snatched him away!! Stephanie accused while Antoine stood like a statue, fools!! Julia thought.

Without answering them, she climbed up the stairs but Ashley held her arm.

She threw Ashley a cold look, unconsciously, she let go of her arm, almost not recognizing the aura coming from her.

"You should answer Stephanie when she talks to you" like always, Antoine sided with them.

Julia looked at him as if she was looking at a silly child before climbing up the stairs to her room.

"You see that Antoine?? she's become more stubborn and selfish" she heard Stephanie complain to him.

"Just let her be, Steph" Antoine walked out no longer having the appetite for dinner.

"What are we going to do mom?? Ashley asked her mother with years in her eyes.

"Don't worry, I'll do something, i can't sit down and watch her get married to Jules Alexandre, never!!" Stephanie promised wiping the tears from her eyes.

Immediately, Ashley's eyes spark.

"Really mom?? she asked in anticipation.

"Of course, don't you trust mom again?

Stephanie asked with a cunning smile.

Smiling the two of them went to eat their dinner.

With each passing day, Alexandre longed to see Julia, but he was very busy with an important project, he had to wait till he was done before going to her house to hear her decision. He blamed himself for not remembering to get her number before leaving their house that day.

Once he was done with work their was nothing that was going to stop him from going to see her beautiful face. He didn't no why, but he just missed her, a lot.

He wondered what she was doing, how was her room like?? how did she normally spend her time?? what did she do?? Sometimes he was tempted to cast work to the wind and just run over to see her. Alexandre spent the next four days in the company working very hard.

At night, he would manage to lay his head down on the bed for an hour or two before raising to continue with work.

He was motivated to work harder so that he would finish the very important project and then go back to the mute girl who had stolen his heart without doing anything. She simply just stirred him with her face and the way she behaved. He liked her a lot, more than he could have ever imagined and he was surprised himself.

On the other side, Julia had nobody to talk to,so, decided to ask Nelson for advice,because he was the only friend she had got. She texted him the next day.

"Hey, Nel"

Soon he replied. "Hi, juli, what's up??

"Nothing much, i just need your advice on something" she texted.

"okay, go on" he sent.

Julia explained everything to him just as it had happened, Nelson, though a detective was thrilled.Jules Alexandre was indeed a well known man in the country and many girls would kill just to get such a golden opportunity.

But Julia was different, she was a mute!!!

And he said it didn't matter??

Nelson felt she deserved all the happiness in the whole world, he wasn't sure Alexandre could give her that , but why not give it a try??

"Julia I think you'll be very happy with him, he says he likes you, so, I think you should consider him, he's not a bad guy, he's very rich and handsome" he sent after much consideration.

When Julia received his messaged,she became even more confused.

What if he has an ulterior motive???what if he was one of the people who had killed her mother??

No, that couldn't be true, Alexandre would have gotten her killed already.

He was rich, yes, and he could protect her even when she knew she had nothing to offer. She made her decision!.
