Never letting go

Mrs Jules looked at her son feeling very angry, she just couldn't sit down and watch him destroy his future just because of one mute woman.

"I'll not accept her as my daughter in-law, never!! she picked her bag on the couch and walked out angrily.

Alexandre looked after he, as she left, he turned around and saw Ashley's face beaming with triumph, while Julia sat on the couch playing a game on her phone.

He felt the urge to bite her lips.

"You really don't care about this relationship, he accused but then he regretted it as soon as it left his mouth.

They weren't in a relationship, he had just showed up suddenly and asked her to be his wife.

Julia paused the game before looking up.

Her eyes shining brightly as she looked at him with a hint of confusion on her face. Ashley's smile even widen as she saw her nonchalant behavior. Soon he would realize how stubborn and carefree Julia was and then been dissatisfied with her, he would change his mind and he would then ask her to be his wife. She smiled and blushed as she imagined herself in her wedding dress getting married to him in a church.

Julia slowly on her phone, Alexandre waited patiently for her to finish whatever she was writing.

She gave him the phone when she was done.

"I'm so sorry for troubling you and your mom, I think you should listen to her" he read inwardly.

They had just taken a step together but now was backing off. He shook her head

"I won't let go of you" he said very determined.

She nodded. Ashley looked at him, this wasn't what she had expected.He was supposed to be angry at her, he should be telling her that she was nothing but a useless mute woman that he just felt pity for!!! What then was he saying??

Alexandre sat down beside Julia, his eyes pleading with her.

"I'll make her change her mind, just trust me and trust me" Julia looked up at, he was very serious, maybe it could work, of only his mother would just accept her, they could make it work. She nodded her head, showing him that she would wait for him and that she trusted him.

He placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.

"I'll see you later then" he stood up and walked out after he saw her nod her head

Ashley was so angry, she felt like stabbing Julia and piercing her heart several times.

Just then Stephanie arrived, looking like she had just walked out of a salon, she had a new hairdo.She soon noticed Ashley's sour expression.

"What's going on?? she looked at Julia sitting on the other couch. "did she bully you??

Julia didn't wait for her reply, she quickly went up the stairs to her room.

As soon as she closed the door her phone dinged.

She saw that it was an email from Elena, she locked the door to avoid any kind of distraction from the family downstairs.

She went to work reviewing all she had missed this past few days. She was almost done when her stomach rumbled hungrily, she didn't know why,but she suddenly remembered Alexandre. He would probably have had his lunch, but she had only eaten an apple in the morning. She logged out of her email so as to get something to eat, she screwed through the list of restaurants, soon one of them caught her eyes and she quickly placed her orders.Julia played her favorite game on the phone as she waited for her orders, after twenty minutes, she ran downstairs, Stephanie and daughter were no longer there, they must gone to their room to scheme on her so that Alexandre would just feel fed up with her and then she shift focus on Ashley, she felt that her stepmother and stepsister were becoming more and more foolish with each passing day, she shook her head and opened the door when she heard the door bell.
