This felt amazing. Jackson was running through the woods and I was following. We zipped through the trees and jumped over the logs. I don’t know how long we were running for but I didn’t feel tired.
“He thinks he’s fast?” Star said smugly. “Let’s beat him, Lauren.”
I agreed and now I had figured out and got used to it I wanted to beat him. I saw another clear path to his left, and hopped over to it. I then really pushed us to go faster. The rush was amazing. We whipped past Lynx at breakneck speed and he tried to keep up. I was too fast. I got a little carried away and lost him. I slowed down trying to link him.
