“Are you ok, babe?” I asked her. She nodded her head towards me and smiled. “You will also have a lunch break. You can either take it at lunch time or after main lunch has finished. I will be out for an hour during main lunch today. You can go into the main dining room for your lunch if you want.” I told her. She became rigid with fear. “Or you can stay in here if you like. Chloe will be in the kitchen most of the time. There are plenty of books to read if you like on baking.” I added. She relaxed a little.
“ I would prefer to stay in here please?” She asked me. I nodded my head in approval. “But I am not able to read or write very good!” She admitted looking at the ground.
“That’s fine. I have some good books you can look at and if you want we can teach you?” I asked her questioningly
