“Babe what are….” Jackson started.
“Trust me.” I replied, as I looked him in the eyes. He calmed down and waited. I walked over to Elder Dan. I placed my hands out in front. The Elder looked at me with concern but stood up and took my hands. I closed my eyes.
“Think hard Lauren. Remember that day.” Star encouraged me.
I was looking at a book, it had lots of colourful pictures of wolves. My mum was sat beside me.
“I’m hungry mummy!” I said with pouted lips.
“Well I guess I best go get you something to eat hadn’t I?” She told me. Her voice sounded like an angel.
