I slept restless that night. I felt drained. There was so much going through my mind.
“We can get through this,Lauren.” Star tried to reassure me. “We have Jackson and Lynx now too.” She added. She was right. They had done nothing but help us. I looked forward to seeing them again later. Now I had to get sorted for work. I put on my joggers and plain white T-shirt. They were my go to for comfort. I put my hair into a bun and headed down the stairs to the kitchen. Hopefully I would be able to focus on work. I got out all the ingredients for the morning and started to prepare for making buns.
