Someone started clapping.
"Mr. Calloway's proposal is reasonable. As long as Ms. Weston apologizes, this will blow over eventually."
"Agreed. For the sake of the company's reputation, the executive director position should be temporarily filled by Mr. Calloway. Once things settle down, Ms. Weston can come back."
I laughed out loud.
"You're not even bothering with proper procedure anymore?"
