Part 2 - Chapter 4 - the council of alphas
The next week went in a blur. There were a lot of preparations needed with many announcements and many meetings. There were even practical things to be considered to expand and improve on the space we had to allow us to accommodate larger numbers. But, we got to work and the packs began to merge. We were aware that the pack members that were moving were not all delighted about it. Certainly, Drake, the Beta for Crescent moon had made that abundantly clear. There was a lot of worry in the air about the change and it was clear we had work to do. One of our largest obstacles would be the council of alphas and that was where we were today. The council sits in the middle of pack territory and is quite deliberately not belonging to any one pack. It has been designed to be neutral ground. It is
