fourteen LeniLiam wasn’t lying when he said his office could use some work. When he first offered me the job, I thought it was just to be nice—a favor to me. And, though I think it started that way, now that I’m here, I realize he needs some help. He’s so busy all the time with things that have to be done on the ranch that he doesn’t have time for the things that should be done in his office.
