HEAVEN'S POV

"Okay! Princes and Princesses! Time for your next activity. Watch out for this battle because your first impression grade of this year depends on this, meaning this is your starter grade. Your new groups and sections will be decided on this. Goodluck!" Granny Queen Latanya appeared suddenly in front of the stage that caught all of the students' attention. I didn't know that my grandma loves to have a grand entrance, hahaha.

Everyone got confused because everyone thought that the sections wouldn't change. And everyone thought that their partners would be pick in one of their classmate inside their current section. So... Basically, anyone here in this field could become my partner! That's...so.... COOL!!!!!

"Now, line up students and pick an element ball inside the box. Every students' name was being written on every ball but your names aren't written according to your power element so whoever you pick is a surprise one. After everyone picked, that's the only time that the element ball would show you your new partner's name. The one you picked as your partner would be your partner in trial for a month... Until then, we won't permit anyone changing their partners. If you are worried that your picked partner picked a name that wasn't you... That won't happen. The magic box guided by the destiny was the one who would make every student get the exact partner. " Granny explained while everyone's picking their desired element ball.

I was thinking what element would I pick when it's my turn. Should I pick the pink one with a design of a brush? Cause that's the color of the Clan Castle where my Dad belong and the brush clearly symbolize art. Or the black one with red eye design? That's the vampire clan. Wahh! I don't know... Whatever.

A little later passed and it's finally my turn. I can't decide what to so I closed my eyes and let my hand decide....

After I pick an element ball with my eyes closed, I slowly opened my eyes and see what I picked. It's a brown ball with a fang design on it. Woah! This is so cool!! As far as I remember... This sign belong to the Creature Castle, ruled by wolves. They are the main enemy of the Vampire Clan. Well... I don't think there's a problem anyway. Granny said that the student's name was randomized in each ball so... It's okay... It's not like I also hate wolves and beasts. In fact, I actually like them cause I once met a wolf when I was a child. I just don't think it would be good if I became partner with the enemy of the Vampire Clan cause everyone thinks that I was the daughter of the Vampire King so... That's a disaster.

Well, I just hope that my bad luck doesn't strike earlier and made me pick my Papa's Castle Enemy. It's truly impossible. I hope so?

"Okay! Everyone! Time to open your element ball. Let's count to three and the ball would open itself.

One.....

Two....

Three!!!" All of us counted then all of the element balls in our hands opened and a paper float outside of it. A sparkling pixie dust came out of the ball then amazingly wrote a name. This is AWESOME!!!!!

I was occupied by the shining pixie dust that I didn't realized the name written on it. I didn't notice the appearance of Shade at my back and only noticed him when he shouted.

"What?! There's no way I'm letting you be partner with that guy!" Shade shouted that almost everyone caught their attention on us.

"Hey! Don't shout that loud! I still didn't even read the name okay? Who the heck was my partner that made you be angry like that?" I told him then I slowly read the name.

'Hmm. Wren Beast Marshall' I read it on myself. Oh? It's really a bad luck. But... It's not really a big problem. He just belong to the Creature Castle. Like what I said earlier... It's the ruler of the both castles' problem not mine.

"So? I don't have a problem with him being my partner." I casually said to 'brother' Shade. He wants me to call him brother or big bro cause he said he wants to. Like... Does that even make sense?!

"Are you kidding me? The Marshall is our clan's enemy! OUR enemy!" Shade said while holding me on my two shoulders and shaking me.

"Hey,hey! Stop shaking me!!! I'm getting dizzy!!" I told him and he stopped when he realized. "Besides... I think it's also fine being friends with them. You don't know maybe enemies might be a good ally in the future. Don't mess this up please, big bro?" I said using my puppy eyes. Hehe. This always work on my Dad and Mom.

"Fine! But if that doesn't go well... Change your partner after a month!" He said and I just rolled my eyes then nodded to end this.

"Anyway... Whose your partner?" I changed the topic and asked him.

"It's a princess from the Brier Clan in the Forest Castle. Good thing it's not that girl Frosha. That girl was very cold so I'm lucky I didn't pick her." He said like he really doesn't want that Frosha girl that he is talking about to be his partner.

"Oh?? Whoever that girl from the Brier Clan is.. I hope she stand being with you. Anyway, I think it's better for you to also meet her. I'll also get going, bye bro." I bid goodbye to him then a little later, someone approach me.

"So... You're the newbie? And I also heard you are 'that' vampire's sister.." a student approach me referring to Shade.

"Yeah. I'm Heaven Hecate... Nice to meet you. You're Wren from the Creature Castle, right?" I said after I saw his nameplate in his uniform.

"Mhmm. So... Tell me. Are you a vampire or not?" He asked. After meeting him I think he looks kind. Though his eyes were kind of frightening. It's a rare blue eye but I'm having goosebumps staring at it.

"Well...what do you mean? A vampire as in literal vampire or a vampire as in the Vampire Clan?" I asked back confusedly.

"As in the vampire who drinks blood," he answered.

"What? No. I'm not a literal vampire,Just half. Anyway, I'm a normal Mashia Princess. Just a Princess" I said,Though I lied at the part of me being a half vampire. I couldn't help it. I must lie to be able to stay here.

"Hmm. That's good. I don't want to have another vampire wandering in the school."

"So... I'm curious. How did the Vampire Castle and the Creature Castle became enemy?" I curiously asked.

"Well... We hate them for killing animals to make their food. You know, vampires drink blood. The Creature Castle care for animals and Vampire Castle kill too much of them. That start it all." He explained.

"Hmm. That actually makes sense. It's for their own survival but it's not good to kill many of them at a time." I agreed.

"Wait... You're not defending your clan? That's weird." He said like I said something unbelievable.

"Why? You thought I will? I also care for animals,okay? I love to interact to every kinds of animals back on Earth." I said stating the truth.

"Hmm. Then... What type of animal you love the most?" He asked

"I love wolves. I once encounter one of them when I was a child and it didn't hurt me." I reasoned out.

"You're not afraid of wolves?"

"Yeah I'm not afraid of them. They actually looked cool. And most of all... I LOVE THEIR EYES!!! It's beautiful!!" I exclaimed excitedly.

"You're... Weird and quite different from the others." He told me.

"I know *flips hair* . I'm unique right? So... We're okay now? Friends then?" I offered then lend my hand.

"Yeah. I think so. Good to have you, Partner." He said then accept my hand and shake it.
