CHAPTER 25Kat woke to an empty house. Kris was going to go skate early with Matt and then take care of some errands. Once he came home they were going to dinner at Ice. Instead of sitting around a quiet house, Kat took a leisurely walk around the neighborhood. The weather was warm with a nice breeze, but by the time she got home she was hot and sweaty.
