'I'll see you later honey. Have fun at Sammy's house tonight' I told Rory as I said good bye to her at the school gates. Eddie was picking her and Sammy up right after school. She smiled widely and grabbed Anna's hand, running off across the play ground. Unfortunately, Anna was a little upset because she couldn't go tonight to the little play date the other girls were having.
'So, you still going to see Johnny tonight?'. I casually asked as we started walking back to Danni's house. It wasn't too far away.
'Yeah, I miss him. You should come to and see Adam. How long has it been since you saw each other?' She asked but didn't need an answer, it had been too long,
'I don't like visiting him. There isn't any privacy'. She shrugged. 'Besides, I need to be home when Eddie drops Rory off later'.
'Oh yeah. So, what's the deal with that any way?'
'What do you mean?'
'You and Sammy's dad?'
'Eddie?'
'Yeah'. She stated like what ever she was getting at was sooo obvious. But I honestly had no idea so, I just shrugged. 'Oh come on, I won't tell'.
'I know you won't, because there is NOTHING to tell'. She still didn't look convinced, 'Danni, really, I have no idea what your talking about.'.
'Ok, what ever you say'.
'ANY WAY....changing the subject. How was last night?'
'Fun, he was so-'
'HE? Well, Well, look who's been sly. And you say I'm the one with a secret guy.' She smacked my arm playfully.
'Shut up. I didn't go where you think I went. Chill'. She smiled
'Clearly, because I thought you were at work'. She just rolled her eyes. I knew what ever it was and WHO ever it was, was completely harmless. She loved Johnny too much to cheat.
'But, any way, Bottom line is, I had fun'.
'Good.'
'Eddie is hot though'. She said quickly.
'OH....MY....GOD! Shut the f**k up!' We both burst out laughing and carried one walking down the road.
Deciding to have a little fun we decided stopped to do some shopping for a little while.
Danni wanted some thing nice to wear for visiting Johnny today and I just wanted to shop. Simple. Heading into the music store, we went straight to the music, as normal.
'I need a replacement Murderdolls CD'. I randomly told her, 'Rory broke mine'. She nodded and we continued our quest through the shop. 'Do you want any thing?'
'Ummm... don't think so. Oh, I wanna get the My Chemical Romance Kill joys CD though'. I nodded and past it to her. 'Thanks. Oh my god, Look!' She shouted, pointing over to some music magazines.
'Yeah, cool'. I mumbled not paying attention. She said some thing under her breath that I didn't quite catch. 'Ok, I'm all done here, what do you wanna do now?'
We made random small talk all the way to the till and paid for the music before heading out and into clothes shops, starting our quest for Danni's outfit. After a few hours, we heading down to get some food at the food court. 'What do you want to eat?'
'Ummm...chips?'
'Ok'. She past me all the bags and I went to find a table while she went to get some thing for us to eat.
Finally!! Finding one, I dumped all the bags down and sat down myself. Looking through them, I grabbed the one with the CD's in it and pulled out my Murderdolls one. I can't wait to go and listen to this. I loved the songs on here.
Putting it back in, I noticed Danni had bought one of the magazines she was talking about. I took it out to look at it. I still had no idea what she was even talking about.
'Still don't know what that is?' I looked up suddenly, not realising Danni had sat directly opposite me and was eating. I shook my head. 'Have a look in the bottom left hand corner' I did... Then I realised.
It was a photo of Sammy's dad. Did he own this magazine?
'Ohhhhhhhh'.
'Finally, the penny drops. Looks like you got yourself a rich sugar daddy babe'. I told her to f**k off, not finding the joke funny and threw the magazine at her.
'So?'
'Im bored'.
'Me too. Let's go home' We both got up, grabbed our bags and made out way out of the Mall and back to Danni's.
