“We collided like wild dogs, claws slashing, jaws snapping”.
The first impact knocked the wind from me. Osiris' size wasn’t just for show. He hit like a bull. My feet left the ground, and I tumbled into the dirt, skidding through loose gravel and ash.
I barely had time to brace before he was on me again, unrelenting.
His fangs grazed my throat, and I twisted just in time, earning a gash across my shoulder instead. This didn’t stop the pain or bleeding though, just the lethality.
“Is that your best, pup?” He mocked.
