Xorax walked Ravenna through the winding tunnels as they walked, Xorax turned to her, "What happened, Ravenna?" he asked, his voice low and gentle. Xorax listened intently as Ravenna explained, his expression unreadable. Xorax's expression turned pale. "Azazel has always been...difficult," he said. "He is the devil, after all. But he has a certain...fascination with humans. Ravenna's eyes widened in surprise. "What do you mean?" she asked. Xorax's smile was enigmatic. "Azazel has a certain...appreciation for strong-willed humans although he never shows it," he said. "And you, Ravenna, are certainly that." Finally, they arrived at a large, rusty gate that creaked as Xorax pushed it open. "Be safe, Ravenna! I don't know when I will be coming down here again to see you, for this underground cell is not protected by me but another demon." Xorax said before leaving. *******************************************, Ravenna's eyes adjusted slowly to the dim light of the cell, the cold grey stone walls. The silence was oppressive, punctuated only by the faint rustling of unknown creatures in the dark cell. As she looked around, she saw that she was not alone. The cell was filled with other humans, all of them huddled together in small groups. Ravenna approached one of the groups cautiously, unsure of what to expect. As she drew closer, she saw that they were all staring at her with a mixture of curiosity. "Who are you?" one of them asked, a tall, gaunt man with sunken eyes. Ravenna hesitated, "I'm Ravenna," she said finally." The group nodded sympathetically, their expressions softening. "Welcome to the club," a man said. "We're all waiting for our punishment." There was a young woman with a scar above her eyebrow, a burly man with a thick beard, and a frail old man with a cane, she couldn't really notice the other people because it was dark. As she listened to their stories, Ravenna realized that she was not alone. There were others like her, others who had been driven to desperation to take their lives by the cruel hand of fate. Ravenna sat in the darkness of her underground cell, surrounded by the other prisoners. She had lost all sense of time, and she wondered if she would ever see the light of day again. As she sat there, she noticed a face among the prisoners staring at her. she seemed like she was about Ravenna's own age, with a piercing gaze. She seemed out of place among the rough and hardened prisoners, and Ravenna wondered what her story was. Ravenna's curiosity was piqued, and she wondered who this prisoner was. As she caught the girl's eye, the girl smiled and waved at her from the distance before walking up to her as she introduced herself. "Hi, I'm Lilith," she said, her voice soft but confident. Ravenna smiled back, "I'm Ravenna," she said. Lilith's eyes sparkled..., "So, what's your story?" Ravenna asked, trying to sound casual. Lilith's expression turned serious, and she hesitated before speaking. "I...,made a deal with Azazel," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I traded my soul for something." Ravenna's eyes widened in surprise. "What did you trade it for?" she asked, her curiosity piqued. Lilith's eyes seemed to become more pale, and she looked away. "Something I thought was important at the time," she said. "But now, I realize the mistake I made," Lilith continued. It all started in the human world where i and my family lived the life of a puppet. "Azazel tricked me into believing that he could fulfill my deepest desires. However, what he gave me was not worth sacrificing my soul for." Ravenna listened intently, her heart filled with a mix of sympathy and curiosity. "What did he give you?" she asked, her voice soft. Lilith took a deep breath before answering. "He gave me wealth and power," she said, her eyes filled with regret. "But it came at a great cost. I lost everything that truly mattered to me - my family, my friends, and most importantly, my own sense of self." Ravenna could feel the pain in Lilith's words, the weight of her regrets hanging heavy in the air. She reached out and placed a comforting hand on Lilith's shoulder. As Ravenna sat talking to Lilith, she began to feel a connection with her. They talked about their lives, their hopes and dreams, and their fears. Ravenna found herself opening up to Lilith in ways she never thought possible. In turn, Lilith seemed to admire Ravenna's determination and courage. She listened with rapt attention as Ravenna told her about her life on earth, about her wicked uncle and his wife and how she had no friends, except for her favorite cousin Miranda and also how her uncle planned an arranged marriage with one wealthy Dimitri Santiago. As the hours passed, It was as if they had known each other for years, not just hours. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Ravenna decided to confide in Lilith. She suddenly remembered the quest that the Queen of the Underworld had given her. She had been so caught up in her own misery that she had forgotten all about it. She turned to Lilith, who was watching her with a curious expression. "I have to tell you something," Ravenna said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I have a quest to fulfill." Lilith's eyes sparkled with interest. "What kind of quest?" she asked. Ravenna took a deep breath before speaking. "I have to make Azazel fall in love with me before 200 days elapses," she said. Lilith's eyes widened in surprise. "That's impossible 200 days ?...,that's not a very long time enough for such a quest." she said. "Azazel is the devil. He doesn't have a heart." Ravenna nodded. "I know it's impossible," she said. "But I have to try. If I can make him fall in love with me, I'll be forgiven and allowed to be reborn." Lilith looked at Ravenna with a mixture of concern and disbelief. "Ravenna, you can't possibly be serious," she said. "Azazel is not someone to be trifled with. He's dangerous, and his heart is as cold as ice." A determined smile played on Ravenna's lips as she met Lilith's skeptical gaze. "I know it sounds crazy," she admitted. "But sometimes, the most extraordinary things happen when we dare to believe in something beyond reason. Love has a way of defying all odds, and if there is any chance of making Azazel fall in love with me before 200 days elapses, I have to give it a try so i could be reborn and take revenge on my uncle and his wife who wronged me." "Ravenna...it will be dangerous," Lilith cautioned gently. “He is not like any other ordinary man we know. He is the devil." “I am aware,” Ravenna responded firmly. "But if I can soften even one corner of his heart before 200 days elapse, then it will all be worth it." Lilith stared at Ravenna, "You are truly brave," she said softly. "Trying to make the devil himself to fall in love with you for a chance at redemption and to be reborn." Lilith vowed to support Ravenna through every step of her dangerous journey.
