"Thank you for coming to pick me up from the airport." Bella said, she tried to touch his hand.
Dave wasn't comfortable around her because he didn't love her. He was just being forced by his parents. Bella, on the other hand, loved Dave, but she wasn't getting the attention she needed from him.
"Remind me the road to your house please." Dave said.
Bella wasn't happy with the issue because she thought she would be staying at his place. She became quiet for some time and finally broke the silence.
"Am I not going to your place?" Bella asked...
Dave faked a smile and told her he would drop her at her place, then later she could come to the house to try to convince her to go to her house. Bella listened and went to her place.
"Where is Bella?" Mr Philips asked as Dave entered the sitting room.
''I dropped her off at her place," Dave replied.
"Why would you do that? The main reason I told you to pick her up from the airport is so that you can bring her here." Mr Philips shouted.
"You need to be close to that girl, whether you like it or not. I am helping you secure your future by telling you to be close to her, and you are doing it a big deal." Mr Philips added.
"I won't forgive myself if anything goes wrong," he concluded as he left the room.
Dave looked at his Mom waiting for her to say something but all her attention was on the nails she was fixing.
"Oh lord." Dave exclaimed as he saw his mom.
He wanted to say something to her but was interrupted by a call. It was Maria that was calling. He looked at the phone and wondered why she was calling.
"Hi Maria." Dave said..
"Good day Sir. How are you doing?" Maria asked.
"I'm fine.. Hope everything is fine?" Dave asked as he approached his room.
"Yes.. I just wanted to know how you are doing," Maria said.
Dave was surprised about what she said because they were both in the office a few hours ago, and now she was calling. He appreciated her and ended the call.
Maria was very happy as she couldn't wait to see him in the office the next day. She had fallen in love with him and wanted him to see her the same way.
The next day, when he got to the company, he noticed that Sara was not yet in the office, and he asked Maria, and she said she hadn't seen her. Dave became worried and hoped nothing bad had happened to her. Maria wondered why Dave was this concerned about Sara and she became jealous.
Dave instructed Maria to get Sara's profile and bring it to his office. She did so and Dave checked her address and also collected her number from the file. He drove off immediately to her place…
When he got to her place, he didn't see anyone, and he tried her number, and it did not go through. As he was about to head back to the company, he saw Sara's neighbor and asked him about Sara, and he told him Sara's sister was to be admitted to the hospital. He was knocked down by a careless driver. When he heard this, he wasn't happy about it.
"Did all of them go to the hospital because there is no one at home?" Dave asked as he wanted to know more.
"They are the only ones that live here," the neighbor said.
"How about their parents?" Dave asked.
"They are late.", my neighbor replied.
"Oh my goodness. Please, where is the hospital?"
The neighbor told him the name of the hospital, and he immediately went there… He saw Sara coming out of the hospital, and she was surprised when she saw him.
"Good day Sir. I'm surprised to see you here... What are you doing here?" Sara asked, as she was surprised.
"I'm here to see you. I went to your place, then your neighbor directed me there... How is your sister's health? Hope it's not critical?" Dave asked.
Sara was shocked by what she had just heard.
"So is this wicked person caring?.. After he stressed me out the previous day,"She thought.
"Oh, thank you very much for your care,"Sara said.
"So how about your sister? "Dave asked.
Sara became silent for some time and finally spoke up...
"She was knocked down by a car who left her there on the spot. A Good Samaritan rushed her to the hospital, and they called her." Sara said as tears clouded her eyes.
"Do you know anything about the driver?" Dave asked.
"Not really, but they said it was a lady,"Sara replied.
"Don't worry, I will do everything possible to get the driver to the bar. She must pay for her crimes.
"Thank you very much for your help,"Sara said, as she was grateful.
Dave asked about the payment and Sara told him what the doctor said, and she didn't have money to pay for it and that she was stepping out to her uncle's place to know if they would support her. Dave took her inside the hospital and cleared all the payment.
Sara was very happy, and she thanked Dave for his help… They spent time together in the hospital and Sara found out Dave was actually a nice person. They laughed and joked, and they were really compatible. Jessy, Sara's sister, also liked Dave and wished their relationship would work as they looked perfect together.
"I didn't know you were this fun." Sara said. Dave was ready to go home.
Dave smiled at what she said. The first time Sara saw him smile and it was really fascinating.
"You should often smile because you look good at it,"Sara added.
"Thank you, and I'll do what you said." Dave assured me.
The evening breeze was cool and romantic. They look at themselves, and they can fill the spark within them. They became closer and didn't understand what was happening.
"Alright, I have to go now because it's getting late, "Dave said, as he was distracted for the moment.
"Thank you for coming and paying the bills,"Maria said.
"You are welcome. Don't bother to come to work tomorrow. Please stay and take care of your sister. If I chanced, I'd
stop by."Dave said..
"Thank you." Sara replied.
