Jessie stared at the box that Oliver was holding out to her. She felt a part of her panic at the thought of what this could mean. She also felt the pain of her loss. She hadn’t let herself think about the loss of her parents in so long. “How do you know?” Jessie asked nervously, keeping her hands to her sides. Oliver awkwardly rescinded the proffered box. He then turned it upside down and showed her what was written on the bottom: “To Rachel. You will always be and always have been my greatest treasure.” “Wasn’t your mom’s name Rachel?
