Chapter 2

Kyra

As I'm sitting with my mom and dad I can't help but to smile when they start to talk to me about my birthday in a few weeks. My parents are the beta of the alpha. My father beta Knox and his mate my mama female beta Alexa have always loved the alpha family.

My boyfriend and best friend Carter won't be here for the party unfortunately. Him and his twin Camden will be away at alpha training camp at the Cosmic Life Pack. I'm hoping to find that Carter is my mate when he returns from training camps. Our parents used to joke about us being mates. The whole pack thinks we will be mated. They did however discuss and discourage us from being in a relationship at first with fear of what may happen if we weren't mates. I know that with Carter and Camden being twins they may share a mate and I'm still unsure how I feel about that because Camden slept with my sister. I guess I got a lot to think about over the next few weeks.

My older sister Abbie has slept with Camden since she hasn't found her fated mate yet. Abbie is beautiful in her way and so outgoing. I hope she finds her mate because she definitely deserves happiness. I wish she would have waited before having intercourse especially with Camden knowing she wasn't his mate and it's possible he may be mine but I guess it happened and we can't change it now.

Unfortunately, when the twins are away at camp I won't get to talk to them much but we are all best friends and I want nothing more than to be happy. I don't know what I'll do if Carter isn't my mate.

Just thinking and getting ready when I heard my phone ding with an incoming text from Carter. After a slight conversation about our date I agree to meet with him and Camden. I guess they want to discuss everything before they leave for camp since I turn 18 first and they won't be here.

THE TWINS PICK KYRA UP FOR THEIR DINNER DATE!

Camden

As me and Carter pull up in front of Kyras house to pick her up for dinner Carter tells me that I'll only be joining them for the dinner version and he wants to take Kyra to the movies alone. We'll see how dinner goes though before I agree. Maybe she'll allow both of us to take her on her movie date if she wants to be Carter's and my mate we'll have to get used to the trio dates sooner or later.

Thinking about a date with Kyra has my head spinning. Carter has the biggest smile on his face so I look up to see Kyra walking out in a beautiful dark purple knee length dress, a natural makeup look and her curls wild as her sprit. Snapping back to reality I look at her and tell her "Good evening Kyra. You look beautiful as always" before kissing her on the cheek." I step aside and let Carter step forward.

Standing back a bit I think I start to get jealous when I see Carter smile lovingly at her, telling her she is the most beautiful girl he's ever laid eyes on and kissing her with so much passion and love that it takes her a solid few minutes before she catches her breath again. I know I don't usually have romantic feelings for her but I told Carter I wouldn't see anyone else until we got back from camp to know if she was mated to one or both of us.

Carter

Gosh. Kyra is so beautiful. I can see how Camden is starting to see it too. I see the look in his eyes when he's looking at her just now as if she took his breath away. I decided to mind link him so Kyra doesn't hear our private conversation about her. Mind linking is something werewolves can do to communicate between each other or the whole pack without speaking the conversation out loud.

mindlink conversation with the twins:

Carter- I see how you're looking at her Cam. She's so beautiful isn't she.

Camden- she's gorgeous. it's not like I haven't noticed it before but honestly we share everything else except girls. I don't know how you or she feels about this until we'd know if she was our mate

Carter- honestly it's you so I don't think I'd really care. As far as her i dunno you slept with her sister a-hole!

Camden- I do regret that honestly because I wish I would have waited before sleeping with her sister but I can't change that fact.

Carter- let's get through this dinner and see what she says maybe you can join us for our boyfriend and girlfriend date to the dark movie theater later. ;)

Camden- I know she's a virgin and will remain that way but do you guys do other things?

Carter- Just gonna have to wait and see if you can talk her into letting you come with us.

Smirking at one another we hear Kyra clear her throat before she glares at us both before saying "Thought we were going to dinner to talk tonight boys? Am I ruining your nice since your linking one another while I stand here looking dumb".

Quickly we reassured her that we both want to be here with her and head towards the car to our dinner reservations. Pulling up outside her favorite restaurant "The Blue Rose" she gasps and smiles telling us we really didn't have to bring her here. She doesn't realize this is just the start of our private night.

TWINS

As we escort Kyra into the building we meet with the hostess. She tells us our room is ready and we head towards the back to the VIP PRIVATE ROOMS. Stepping into our private room Kyra lets out a small gasp and covers her mouth.

Shaking her head telling us this was too much she looks around. The center of the room has a special cemi circle booth lit with candles and her favorite yellow roses. One corner has a spacious spot to sit and relax with wine on couches and bean bag chairs while the corner opposite that has its own built in bar. The lighting is dim and has a romantic vibe.

Reassuring her that it would never be enough we stepped further inside letting the waiter know to start bringing out our meals in about 15 minutes and we helped ourselves to drinks in the meantime..

Not sure how we are going to start the intensive conversation we need to have with her without stressing the night away Carter looks at Camden and winks as he walks up to Kyra and begins to kiss her.

Lost in the kiss Kyra lets herself go. Kissing Carter has to be one of her favorite things to do and she knows the waiter will be returning shortly with her first course she allows herself to get lost in the moment.

Slowly, Camden works his way towards them. Placing his hands on her hips she lets out a small gasp allowing Carter's tongue to slip in her mouth deepening their kiss. Camden slowly kisses her neck and whispers how beautiful she is into her ear. Unsure what's about to happen Carter slowly backs up, spins her around to face Camden and whispers into her ear "maybe you should show Cam a good time too tonight princess. who knows maybe soon we'll all be mated" and slowly pulls her hair angling her head towards Cams awaiting mouth.

Biting her lip, looking up see Camden staring right into her eyes she nods slowly before stepping into his arms..
