“It's a dream…” He held tighter, pulling me closer to himself. The smell of wood and citrus lingered into my nostrils. I recognised that scent. “Jordan…” I looked up at him. “It's just a dream.” He pulled me back to himself and I held tighter. "Shhhh, nothing happened." "It was just a dream, just a dream," he said and ran his hands through my hair soothingly. I cried and shook violently in his arms. "He hasn’t..... stop hunting.....me." I stuttered amidst tears. My body trembled. It had been real, I felt everything. “Shhhh..” His voice cooed and his scent pushed at the nasty memories of my nightmare. I closed my eyes, gripping tighter as I inhaled, ready to purge these memories away from my mind. "Shhhh," he pressed me tighter against him. "We have to catch him. All of them.”
