CHAPTER EIGHT Bo peeled out of the parking garage. He almost collided with a few cars on his way down the ramp, but I didn’t yell at him. I wanted him to go faster. I half expected our car to blow up or get riddled with machine guns before we left the casino property—this journey was getting weirder by the minute and I didn’t trust Fiona’s mental state enough to expect her not to try and kill us. Bo and I both let out a collective sigh of relief as we burst out of the parking lot and made distance between us and the casino. We merged onto the highway and floored it.
