CHAPTER TWELVE Unlike most things in the supernatural, necromancy is subtle. When you think supernatural, the last thing you probably think of is necromancy. That’s by design. Vampirism is a shriek—it’s all show, fangs, and blood. Vampires are quick to throw their power around. Necromancy is a whisper. A necromancer doesn’t need very much to use their power, and a little bit goes a long way. Our strength doesn’t come from powers like super strength or immortality.
