HER LEGACY

CHAPTER FOUR

Fifteen years later.

Shyla now twenty is seen sparring with general Luke, swords clinking, she strikes with incredible speed, her sword moving with perfected aim and grace, it grazes general Luke's face. "good" he mumbled, he strikes faster but after years of practice it wasn't a problem for Shyla, she dodges faster and striked again, this time grazing his right arm and leaving a little cut.

"Good job princess, your swordsmanship is highly perfected, even me as the leader of our kingdom's defense troop is being overpowered" said General luke

"Ha, I was going easy on you, i told you not to underestimate me, this was fun though" she said and smiled.

"also you know I could have channeled my fire energy into the sword and make it a blazing weapon, but I didn't" she added

"you've become a lot stronger than expected and maybe because your father is a strong man too, it's in your genes and something else I can't decipher" General luke said

They both laughed and chatted away while discussing battle tactics and where to strike first, then BOOM! they heard a loud crash.

Suddenly everyone started running around scared and confused, and again. BOOM!

"we're under attack!, we're under attack, rival enemies are infiltrating".

Soldiers rushed out to fight back, sounds of swords slashing through flesh, arrows going through the air, everywhere was chaotic.

"s**t" General luke rushed towards the scene with his sword in his hand,

"wait, I can help" Shyla said even though visibly scared, "I can help with the war" She repeated

"No!, the most important thing is that you're safe".

Suddenly the king rushed out of nowhere, blood stains on his face and arms, his sword dripping with blood. "Shyla, you have to run, we're being over powered"

"The enemies are using dark magic!" General luke said

The king and Luke rushed to help the other soldiers and Shyla followed even after being told to run, there they met queen Arizona countering the rivals dark magic with everything she had, blood was coming out of the corner of the queen's mouth, the dark magic visibly affecting her,

and out of nowhere, the rival soldier brought out a stone and it sucked the queen in.

"No!!!" Shyla screamed and unsheathed her sword, out of anger she striked at the enemy, he dodged and tried to use dark magic but Shyla was faster and stabbed him in his neck and ripped out his guts and killed him, blood spilling on her face

Tears welled up in her eyes, then she turned around , every where was bloody, sounds of swords slashing ecoed, then she saw one thing that completely shattered her.

Someone plunged a sword into her Dad, blood coming out of his mouth

"No!!" She wanted to rushed forward but her dad shouted "RUN!!" and blasted Shyla away with his last ounce magic and strength

Shyla was blasted away outside of the palace walls and into the forest by her dad to keep her safe,

with Shyla's hand grabbing the stone that trapped her mother after being thrown into a forest and landing with her head hitting a rock, she vowed to avenge her Dad and kingdom. "and mum, if you can hear me in that stone, I promise I'm going to find a way to release you"

and like as if her mum heard, the stone glowing was the last thing she saw before she fell unconscious .
