Chapter Thirty-one {Theo's POV} "So…" Parris drawls, looking deep in thought. "How many years since we got married?" She finally asked me. I pretend to look casual while sitting on the stool even though my nerves are killing me. It's been so long since I felt nervous, this nervous. She has that effect on me. She just finished eating the Mac and Cheese that I'd cooked for her. To be honest, cooking for her after five years was worse than fighting merciless people in the underground, and let's add the fact that I haven't cooked that recipe since I thought she died.
