Chapter Ten
{Parris' POV}
Theo seemed to tense by my sudden question and that makes me frown.
Since I met him as me Parris the lawyer, not the other Parris. Darn it. Why am I even thinking this? I'm just one person but I'm thinking like I am two. I mentally sigh. Anyway, since I met Theo, I can tell that he doesn't show much emotion, obviously. He is good at controlling his facial expression, and from the time that we were together, he's always calm and composed. Yes, he became tense a couple of times but his expression now is something I've never seen before.
I can sense that he's trying very hard to hide all of the emotion in his eyes but I can see all of them clearly. I see pain, so much pain. Anger, sadness, and regret. But why though?
"Theo?"
