{Parris’s POV}
Guilt was ridden on their faces after what I said, and I know that they regret saying what they said. Though, I’m not mad. I was just trying to make them see the difference, and besides, I don’t think that they mean to offend me or anything.
“No. We don’t mean it like that, Parris. Not because your father is a bad guy means that you’re like him as well.”
I smiled. “Precisely my point. Justin may have been a cheater and a total @sshole and you may not like Kath, but that wouldn’t make their baby less special.”
I gave them all a pointed glare, warning them to drop the topic because they couldn’t just predict what the future would be by defining someone by where they came from.
