Chapter Seventeen
{Parris' POV}
"Parris…" I heard him whispered softly and my heart almost leaped out of my chest. I don't know why but I felt like something has change. And darn, why does my body is freaking reacting in a s*xual way by just the sight of him?
I slowly look up at him and his worried expression welcomed my sight. He lowered his head at my level. He then cupped my cheeks and look at me intently right in the eyes.
"How are you feeling, baby? Are you okay? Does your body hurt? Please, baby tell me if you are alright?" he asked and brush a strand of hair out of my face and tucked it behind my ear.
I just blink and watch him. Why does my heart beat like this? And why does my body felt hot all of a sudden?
