Logan's POV
Darkness spreads around me as I walk through a forest. Fires have burned out, and this place looked like a deserted village.
I have travelled so much, but I have never visited a place like this.
Where was I?
I look at the sky to see the stars twinkling, but the moon? It was nowhere to be seen.
Was it a new moon tonight?
My chain of thoughts was broken by someone crying, and I turned around. I was feeling my heart rapidly thud in my chest.
"Hello. Is someone here?"
I ask, following the voice to hear the female voice; sobs turn louder. Gulping, I move past the bushes and step closer.
With each step I took further, the voices turned louder, The sobs multiplying to be accompanied by painful screams.
I reached a clearing, but what I saw made me freeze in my spot.
